My first blog

I've often thought about starting a blog, but just never seemed to get around to it. Today, my wife Tracie came across this site while looking over another person's blog. She suggested it to me as a possiblilty, so I thought that it would be best to start immediately because otherwise it would be another one of those things that I would simply never get around to. It's funny how those closest to you can often act as catalysts for good or for bad in starting new endeavors. I suppose that's why it's so important to choose those around you carefully.
